STS-IPDX181 decoder provides decompression and digital-to-analog conversion of MPEG-4, H.264, or MJPEG video received from Smartec IP camera or IP video server, and transmits the signal to an analog video device: monitor, video recorder, or video matrix system.
Decompression of Video from 4 Sources
The STS-IPDX181 decoder can receive video from one or four sources. It provides decompression and real-time video stream conversion at 720х576 resolution and 25 fps, and in QUAD mode at 352x288 (per channel) and 100 fps (total).
PTZ controller connection
For PTZ camera control via Smartec decoder, you can connect PTZ controller to STS-IPDX181 via RS-485 / 232С port.
Two-way audio and Alarm Inputs/Outputs
The STS-IPDX181 features 2-way audio channel, which allows the decoder to connect external microphone and speaker and provide audio communication with remote IP camera. Two alarm inputs/outputs allow the operator to configure decoder response to alarm events.
Setup via OSD Menu
All decoder settings are accessible via on-screen menu, when connected to monitor. Menu navigation is provided by USB mouse connected directly to the decoder.
