The STR-1684 DVRs allow to perform simultaneous video recording, live picture viewing, and networking. Recording settings, including resolution, are configurable per individual channel. For ease of operation, the DVRs offer video search by date, time, or event.
Due to their technical features, the DVRs are ideal for small and mid-sized video surveillance systems with high reliability and video quality requirements. The STR-1684 are supplied with IR remote controller duplicating front-panel buttons. The DVRs are also easy to operate by USB mouse.
High recording rate
The STR-1684 provide video recording of 8 and 16 channels at 200 ips (CIF), and offer detailed playback of the archived video. For high quality recording, you can choose 2 CIF or D1 resolution per individual channel.
PTZ control
The STR-1684 support PTZ control using front panel buttons or IR remote controller. Cameras can be controlled locally from the DVR, or remotely from RMS Software. PTZ control is performed via RS-485 interface.
Recorded video retention
S.M.A.R.T support allows performing continuous monitoring of hard disk drives used for video storage. If there is a threat of disk drive failure (overheating or damage), the system will warn the operator preliminarily, helping to avoid any valuable data loss.
Remote viewing
STR-1684 are supplied with RMS software, allowing to view the DVRs’ video remotely from any PC on the network. Operator gets remote access to all functions, required to view live or archived video. STR-1684’s remote setup is also supported. For remote access to the DVRs, you can also use your Web browser.
