Due to built-in DaVinci intelligent processor with VCA video analytics, the IP camera can provide continuous analysis of object behavior in the monitored zone and detect various events. The STC-IPX3905A uses Sony Exview HAD CCD with 540 TVL resolution. The camera is designed for indoor installation but with STB-C103 housing can be used in outdoor environment.
VCA Video Analytics
The STC-IPX3905A features basic VCA Presence video analytics package, which allows the camera to detect object presence in video surveillance zone. Advances video analytics features are provided by optional VCA Surveillance package, which permits to classify objects by size, detect movement direction, object stopping or loitering, count the number of objects, estimate rate of object motion, detect abandoned and removed objects, etc.
Double-Stream Video & Two-Way Audio Transmission
The STC-IPX3905A provides simultaneous double-stream video transmission in Н.264/M-JPEG/MPEG-4 with Full D1 (795х596) resolution at 25 fps. For two-way audio communication, the camera is equipped with audio I/O that can be used to connect external microphone/active speaker.
Operation in Low-Light Environment
The STC-IPX3905A is equipped with removable IR cut filter and provides operation in Day/Night modes at 1.4 Lux / 0.01 Lux minimum scene illumination. In extremely low-light environment the camera can activate frame integration mode (DSS) to increase exposure time. To avoid image smear, the mode should be used exclusively for viewing low-mobility objects.
Software WDR
In extremely contrast illumination environment the camera can activate software wide dynamic range mode, compensating image defects by decreasing the brightness of the bright areas and showing detail in the dark areas.
Extensive PTZ Features
The STC-IPX3905A is equipped with high-precision pan/tilt gear, providing camera 360° pan (continuous pan rotation) and -2° to 90° tilt. Pan speed can reach 350° / s.
The STC-IPX3905A allows the operator to configure up to 165 presets and save pan/tilt angle, zoom ratio, and other settings in non-volatile memory. In addition, the camera supports setting up to 8 patterns with total length of up to 400 s, and up to 8 preset tours, each consisting of up to 60 presets.
Support of Video Clip Recording to Memory Card
Since the camera is equipped with 4 alarm inputs and 2 alarm outputs, it allows the operator to connect multiple external devices, e.g., door and/or motion sensor, audible and/or visual alarm system, etc. In addition the STC-IPX3905A is equipped with microSD memory card slot, which allows the camera to record video to memory card, e.g., when a signal is received from alarm sensor. Recording to memory card is useful in case of communication interruption, since it allows later to view video recorded during network disconnection.
Centralized Monitoring & Recording Software
To implement IP video surveillance systems of any scale with Smartec video cameras, we recommend to use NetStation software. The software offers multiple features for viewing and recording video, allows the camera to create interactive eMap graphic plans and perform smart search of archived video.
All camera settings are accessible via direct connection to MS Internet Explorer after authorization.
