The STC-IPX3062A IP camera is the perfect solution for video surveillance systems with high sensitivity requirements. It can transmit Н.264/M-JPEG/MPEG-4 video with up to 720х576 resolution at 25 fps. This model supports simultaneous transmission of two independent video streams with different codecs, resolutions, frame rate, and compression level. The camera is designed for both indoor and outdoor installation (with outdoor housing).
Operation in Low Light Environment
The STC-IPX3062A is equipped with removable IR cut filter, which allows the operator to use the cameras in low light environment. In color mode, the IP camera provides 0.3 Lux minimum illumination level. When light level is reduced, IR filter is removed and the camera switches to B/W mode delivering 0.03 Lux minimum scene illumination. If illumination level drops below 0.002 Lux, the camera can activate Slow Shutter mode. In this mode, exposure time is increased in accordance with user-selectable ratio, which allows the camera to accumulate more charge on CCD elements.
Wide Dynamic Range
The STC-IPX3062A supports WDR (Wide Dynamic Range), which allows the camera to generate balanced images with high level of detail, even when intensity of illumination within image varies excessively (e.g., if an indoor camera is pointed towards a window). Due to Double Scan CCD, camera produces two initial fields – with normal and low exposure. Later they are combined for image contrast correction.
External Device Connection
The model features USB 2.0 port and microSD memory card slot. Activation of data recording to memory card can be configured both in permanent mode and event mode (alarm input activation, communication loss). After reconnection, remote viewing of recorded video is possible. The STC-IPX3062A supports two-way audio transmission with external microphone and speaker. Alarm input-output allows the operator to connect alarm sensors and remote devices, and their operation is configurable via IP camera’s Web menu. USB port can be used to connect optional Wi-Fi adapter.
VCA Video Analytics
The STC-IPX3062A features basic VCA Presence video analytics package, which allows to detect object presence in video surveillance zone. Advanced video analytics features are provided by optional VCA Surveillance package, which permits to classify objects by size, detect movement direction, object stopping or loitering, count the number of objects, estimate speed of object motion, detect abandoned and removed objects, etc.
Centralized Monitoring & Recording Software
To implement IP video surveillance systems of any scale with Smartec video cameras, we recommend to use NetStation software. The software offers multiple features for viewing and recording video, allows the camera to create interactive eMap graphic plans and perform smart search of archived video.
All camera settings are accessible via direct connection to MS Internet Explorer after authorization.
