The STC-3940 is ideal for video surveillance systems, requiring efficient object tracking. Use of optional thermo-insulated housing allows wider operating temperature range of up to -45° - +50°С.
General Features and Capabilities
The STC-3940 is equipped with 22x zoom lens. It provides 360° pan (continuous pan rotation) and -10° to 190° tilt (with AutoFlip). You can set up to 240 presets, configure up to 8 patterns (total 500 sec) and up to 8 preset tours, and create up to 8 privacy zones. Camera pan speed between presets can reach 380°/sec.
Operation in Low Light
In low light environment, the camera can activate its Frame Integration mode. In this mode, exposure time is increased according to user-defined ratio. Electronic shutter speed is automatically adjusted, depending on the quantity of light reaching the image sensor.
Built-in Lightning Protection Circuitry
To avoid camera failure as a result of lightning strike, the STС-3940 is equipped with the built-in lightning protection circuitry, both on power and video lines.
Effective Noise Reduction Mechanisms
The STC-3940 uses 2D and 3D DNR noise reduction mechanisms that reduce image noise in dim light. In addition to better visual perception, it allows to save DVR disk space when recording video. 2D DNR uses directional noise reduction filter, while 3D DNR utilizes time filter analyzing adjacent frames and eliminating distortion and most noises in the resulting image.
