Steady Operation in Adverse Outdoor Environment
Weatherproof design of the STC-3670MD is ensured by the IP66-rated metal housing. A built-in heater ensures camera operation at low temperatures (up to -40°С). Rugged aluminium housing allows to use the camera at facilities with high risk of vandalism.
Day-and-Night Surveillance
Day-night feature with mechanical IR cut filter ensures STC-3670MD operation in different lighting conditions. When Color or BW mode is selected, the camera will produce only color or only BW image regardless of lighting conditions. At the same time, the STC-3670MD allows for manual selection of the light level, at which the camera will automatically switch from Color to BW mode, quickly adapting to changing conditions.
IR Illuminator – Viewing in Total Darkness
48 built-in highly effective IR LEDs insure the STC-3670MD operation even in zero-light conditions. They turn on simultaneously with camera switching from day to night mode and provide viewing distance of up to 50 meters. If required, you can adjust IR illumination intensity in camera setup menu. The camera is equipped with 10x zoom autofocus and auto iris lens, complemented with10x digital zoom.
Image Enhancement Features
Automatically activated digital noise reduction (DNR) effectively eliminates image noise in low light conditions and, consequently allows to save disk space when video is recorded.
To improve video quality at light levels below 0.02 Lux, you can select the frame integration mode, with sense up level automatically selectable within the range of 2х to 64х. Backlight compensation feature allows to get more image detail in strong back lighting conditions.
Presets and Alarm Actions
The STC-3670MD supports up to 8 presets. For each preset user can define zoom, focus, iris and backlight compensation levels. Presets activation can be set by alarm or by motion detection. ZoomMatic feature allows to activate auto zoom (up to10x) and autofocus by external sensor or built-in motion detection, ensuring quick response to any changes in the scene and accurate number plate or face recognition.
Easy Setup
Camera can be easily setup via on-screen menus, accessible from PTZ controller, DVR, or IR remote control, supplied with the camera. Setup menu access is password protected. Three-axis camera mount with cable feed-through provides flexibility in camera positioning and allows to install cameras on any horizontal or vertical surfaces.
