Day-and-night Surveillance
The STC-3516 provides operation at minimum scene illumination up to 0.2 Lux without mechanical IR cut filter (Easy Day/Night technology). The STC-3516 features 2D digital noise reduction, which allows to obtain high quality image in low light environment. Along with improved visual perception of camera image, this mode allows to save up to 70% of DVR disk space when recording video from the camera.
DSP Sony Effio-E Super High Resolution
Due to Effio-E digital signal processing, the color camera offers extremely high image detail, as well as superior color rendering. STC-3516 horizontal resolution is 610 TVL in color and 630 TVL in B/W mode.
Camera Setup
The STC-3516 camera provides a multilingual on-screen menu system, accessible by use of navigation keys, allowing to select the required camera operation settings: AGC/backlight compensation (HLC/BLC), electronic shutter adjustment / privacy zones (max 8), etc.
Built-in Varifocal Lens and Easy Installation
The STC-3516 is equipped with a 3.6mm fixed-focus lens. To adjust camera direction, three-axis camera mounting is applied, allowing to install the STC-3516 on any vertical or horizontal surfaces without additional brackets. Never the less, optional STB-C201 bracket is offered for pendant mounting.
Software Wide dynamic range
The WDR mode allows to provide balanced images with high level of detail, even when intensity of illumination within image varies excessively (e.g., if an indoor camera is pointed towards a window).
Compact Design and Low Power Consumption
The camera is supplied in a decorative D118 mm dome housing. Its small 250g weight allows easy and fast installation of the camera in a false ceiling. Camera is powered from 12VDC power supply, with only 1.5 W power consumption.
