STC-3009 is designed for video surveillance in "Day"/"Night" modes both for indoor and outdoor operations. Due to the high-quality SONY SuperHAD II CCD, new Day/Night camera delivers detailed images even in low light conditions. Sony DSP HQ1 digital processor provides high resolution (540 TVL) and high-quality color rendering. With a decrease of minimum illumination level up to 2 lux IR cut filter of the camera is automatically turned off, and the camera switches from "Day" to "Night" mode, delivering a monochrome image with up to 0.04 lux of minimum illumination.
High-quality video by reducing noise information Smartec STC-3009 features digital noise reduction (DNR) that is activated in low light condition and effectively removes high-frequency component of the video signal. As a result, new Day/Night camera generates a clear informative image. In addition, DNR can significantly save disk space, because of noise information increasing the total value of CCTV system archive.
A wide range of functions enhancing image quality Unlike many analogues, STC-3009 Day/Night camera can operate on the object with natural, artificial or mixed light. Due to the automatic white balance and gamma correction, new camera delivers clear informative image with high-quality color rendering in "Day" mode. In low light condition, auto gain control (AGC) improves the signal to 26 dB. In addition, an electronic shutter of the Day/Night camera can operate in automatic (from 1/50 s to 1/100000 s) or manual (1/50 s) modes. Also, the camera features flickerless and backlight compensation.
Simple camera adjustment For simple camera adjustment new Day/Night camera is equipped with DIP-switches, allowing installer to select the required operating modes and functions: automatic gain control (AGC), internal synchronization, flickerless/backlight compensation and electronic shutter operation.
Lens mounting and convenient camera installation Depending on the surveillance tasks and operating conditions STC-3009 enables mounting any lenses with C/CS-mount, including lenses with auto iris (AI), controlled by video or DC signals. For example, STC-3009 Day/Night camera can operate using STL-40FFDC lens with fixed focal length or varifocal model STL-2712DC. For camera installation it is recommended to use optional brackets: Smartec STB-C105 and STB-C106 wall/ceiling brackets. In addition, manufacturer guarantees camera operation at temperatures ranging from - 10 ° to +50 ° C.
It is recommended to place Day/Night camera in thermal housing when using it for outdoor video surveillance. According to the outdoor temperature, humidity and other factors, installer can choose, for example, Smartec STC-1230S thermal housing, that will ensure stable camera operation at temperatures ranging from -40 ° to +50 ° C.
