Basic camera settings
Camera setup is done through OSD menu by pressing the navigation buttons on the back panel, or remotely from the PTZ controller. You can configure white balance, activate backlight compensation, set the required auto exposure mode, enter camera name and ID, adjust brightness and contour sharpness, choose PTZ protocol and baud rate, etc.
Operator can adjust white balance manually, or choose one of the preset indoor or outdoor white balance modes. The camera also offers automatic white balance, including AWB for the extended color temperature range. Auto exposure setup allows choosing iris or shutter priority.
In extremely low light environment, the camera can activate frame integration mode. When shutter speed is reduced to 1 sec, minimum illumination of 0.02 Lux is reached in b/w mode.
The camera is equipped with 22x zoom lens, and provides additional 11x digital zoom. Operator can enable or disable digital zoom, and choose focus mode (manual/auto).
You can control the STC-2800 either from PTZ controllers, or locally using the back panel buttons.
Wide dynamic range
The WDR mode allows to provide balanced images with high level of detail, even when intensity of illumination within image varies excessively (e.g., if an indoor camera is pointed towards a window).
Application
Compact body and wide focusing range make the STC-2800 ideal for video surveillance in buildings with extended corridors (supermarket aisles, office building lobbies, etc.)
