STC-IPMX3092A standard network camera uses 1/3.2" Aptina (Micron) CMOS and DaVinci processor with VCA video analytics and double-stream video transmission. This megapixel video camera provides UXGA (1600x1200 pix.) resolution, allowing the operator to use it in security systems with high demands on image detail. STC-IPMX3092A is an effective solution for indoor/outdoor operation with megapixel video recording. For wall/ceiling mounting, it is recommended to use optional Smartec STB-C01 and STB-02 brackets.
3 codecs support and video transmission settings
STC-IPMX3092A supports 3 types of compression (H.264, MPEG-4, M-JPEG) and dual-stream transmission with customizable resolution, frame rate and compression level. Due to this, megapixel video camera can generate informative images for remote viewing/recording. In H.264 and M-JPEG the maximum resolution is UXGA (1600x1200 pix.) at 5/15 fps, respectively, whereas for MPEG-4 video camera allows the operator to set D1 resolution at up to 15 fps.
Informative operation in low light
Due to Day/Night software mode, wide dynamic range and frame accumulation mode, STC-IPMX3092A transmits high-quality megapixel images in low light conditions. Thus, megapixel video camera can generate informative images at up to 0.1 lux of minimum illumination (Slow Shutter mode ON). In addition, effective operation of the camera is ensured by using optional megapixel lenses with manual iris.
Interfaces for connecting external devices
Built-in USB 2.0 port and microSD memory card slot allow STC-IPMX3092A to record data on external storage devices. Recording on memory cards and external devices can be customized by event (alarm or network disconnection). Upon microphone/speaker connection, megapixel video camera allows the operator to organize two-way audio communication. Built-in alarm input/output are used for connection of security sensors and executive devices, which can be configured through the web menu.
Analytical functions for improvement of CCTV operation
STC-IPMX3092A is a next-gen Smartec network device with VCA analytical algorithms, greatly enhancing the efficiency of video surveillance system. Each megapixel video camera in this series is equipped with basic VCA Presence video analytics package and supports advanced VCA Surveillance package (optional).
The main advantages of VCA video analytics:
• An automatic adaptation of video analytics to changes of lighting and weather conditions.
• Reliable tracking mechanism – megapixel video camera provides a high-quality objects’ detection with a small number of false alarms, caused by changes in external lighting conditions (the shadows of clouds and trees, rain, fog, etc.)
• Permanent analysis and tracking of multiple objects, even for short periods of partial or complete closure of the camera lens.
• Easy web-based setup of monitoring area without using special software.
• Built-in digital stabilization, which allows video analytics to operate with loss of effectiveness even if in camera vibration.
Description of software modules:
I. The main functions of VCA presence:
- Detection and identification of moving objects in the monitoring area.
- Selecting focus areas with individual alarm settings.
- Tracking of multiple objects (megapixel video camera can track up to 100 objects simultaneously).
- Checking unauthorized manipulation: movement, camera shrouding and refocusing.
II. The main functions of VCA surveillance:
- Size and Speed Filters for preventing false alarms. These filters allow the operator to perform object classification.
- Direction Filters for setting "acceptable" and "unacceptable" directions of movement.
- Detection of the object in the unauthorized area.
- Object’s temporary stay in the surveillance area longer than usual. Signal of this event megapixel video camera can activate the signal on this event both for temporary stay and moving of the object within security area.
- Control of object’s entrance and leaving of the monitoring area.
- Appearance and disappearance of various objects or items in the security zone.
- Count the number of objects: ascending/descending sorting.
- Double Border: two border lines located at a distance from each other. Video camera activates alarm signal in case of crossing these borders.
Viewing video and settings configuration can be carried out via network PC with standard web browser (for example, MS Internet Explorer). To deploy CCTV system with a large number of video cameras it is recommended to use professional NetStation software. This software can handle up to 32 IP-devices per server, and also provides opportunity to view and record video/audio, create eMap interactive graphic plans and search the archive of megapixel video camera.
