Due to Sony 960H EXview HAD CCD II and Sony Effio-E digital video processor, this camera provides 680/700 TVL horizontal resolution and high-quality color rendering. The minimum sensitivity of STC-3019 in the Day mode is 0.03 lux, while in the Night mode it generates informative B/W images at up to 0.005 lux. Day/Night camera also provides wide set of the display options, including brightness, contrast, sharpness, white balance, etc. It can be effectively used both indoors and outdoors (when installed in thermal housing).
Effio-E DSP and Sony CCD usage
Sony 960H EXview HAD CCD II and Effio-E processor provide not only extreme resolution - 680/700 TVL in Day/Night modes, but also ensure higher levels of sensitivity and color rendering, by expanding the spectrum into adjacent IR range. Camera processor is based on AFE chip, converting signals from CCDб and the processor itself. Due to Effio-E DSP, Day/Night camera enhances the contrast of light and dark image areas, provides backlight compensation, and also has low power consumption.
Image detail in contrast light conditions
In the dynamic range mode (WDR), STC-3019 transmits balanced video information with a high degree of detail both for strongly illuminated and dark areas of the application. As a result, Day/Night camera generates Color/BW images with high brightness, contrast and color reproduction. Like the other Smartec products with Effio-E video processor, STC-3019 supports the "Anti-Headlight" function that prevent camera switching between Day/Night modes for short-time illumination.
2D DNR digital noise reduction algorithm
STC-3019 features 2D DNR noise reduction system, providing superior image quality in the Day/Night modes on the applications with low light conditions. 2D DNR technology uses a spatial filter that analyzes the noise within a single frame. With 2D DNR mode, Day/Night camera not only enhances the visual perception of the image, but also saves up to 70% of DVR storage space.
Video motion detection and the private masking zones
Due to the hardware motion detection, Day/Night camera can track moving objects in the specified security areas (up to 384 zones). It is also possible to select up to 8 masking zones on the frame, which will not be available for viewing by the operator. Each zone has its own individual settings (size, shape and color).
Easy configuration and mounting options
STC-3019 features multilingual system of on-screen menus, available via navigation buttons on the rear panel. The classic camera design allows the operator to use STC-3019 with all types of housings, providing reliable operation under adverse outdoor conditions. Using STB-C01 and STB-C02 brackets, Day/Night camera can be mounted both on horizontal or vertical surfaces. This model also supports DC/Video lens with manual or auto iris and C/CS mount type.
