VMS is full-featured software used for administration and monitoring of STR-1693/3293 DVRs. The software supports live video viewing with audio, video search and playback, and remote setup of STR-1693/3293. Remote event monitoring is also supported.
VMS software is offered in two versions: VMS-Lite and VMS-Pro. VMS is bundled with each STR-1693/3293 and supports up to 512 DVRs. It offers a number of advanced features such as interactive graphic maps, 2-monitor configurations, etc.
Remote live monitoring
VMS allows simultaneous real time viewing of up to 64 video channels from remote STR-1693/3293s in fullscreen or multiscreen mode. For convenience, Operator can create virtual DVRs, i.e. preset groups of video channels from several DVRs, saved as favourites.
Smart search
One of VMS advantages is its ability to perform retrospective motion search in a specified picture area. This feature allows to search for images with motion even if recording was made in continuous mode and motion detection was not used. All you have to do is select the required channel and time interval, and highlight certain area of the picture.
Video data backup
Schedule backup guarantees preservation of the most important video. You can configure backup schedule (day/time and frequency). You can select individual channels, or backup video of all channels simultaneously.
Interactive graphic maps
VMS allows to create interactive site maps. Graphic maps not only allow to visualize real camera/DVR location of a video device in the building, but also to set up logical links between devices. A map is a convenient tool for video viewing, DVR control, and alarm monitoring.
