Smartec network solution: STC-IPMX3092A megapixel video camera with UXGA resolution, 3 codecs and video analytics

STC-IPMX3092A network camera with Day/Night software mode is designed for indoor video surveillance, generating clear megapixel images at up to 0.1 lux of minimum illumination (Slow Shutter ON). Using basic VCA Presence video analytics package, this megapixel video camera can detect moving objects in the video surveillance zone, as well as to control manipulations over the camera lens. STC-IPMX3092A supports double-stream video transmission in H.264/MPEG-4/M-JPEG with UXGA (1600x1200 pix.) resolution at up to 15 fps of recording speed. Due to audio input/output, video camera provides effective 2-way audio communication between the operator and monitoring area. Built-in USB-port and microSD slot are used for recording alarm video on the external memory devices.

STC-IPMX3092A uses a 2-megapixel 1/3.2" Aptina (Micron) CMOS and DaVinci processor, supporting VCA video analytics package. Due to this hardware, megapixel video camera generates crisp images with up to 1600x1200 pix. (UXGA) resolution, allowing the operator to use the camera on sites with special requirements for image detail. STC-IPMX3092A supports 3 video codecs - H.264/MPEG-4/M-JPEG, and can transmit up to 2 video streams simultaneously with individually configurable parameters. For video transmission in H.264 and M-JPEG the operator can set up to 1600x1200 pix. maximum resolution at up to 5 and 15 fps, respectively. For images in MPEG-4 video camera enables the operator to set Full D1 resolution at up to 15 fps.

STC-IPMX3092A can transmit detailed video in a wide range of illumination, since it features 71 dB wide dynamic range, Day/Night software function and frame accumulation mode, allowing video camera to transmit megapixel images at up to 0.1 lux. Due to these high operation values, megapixel video camera will be effective for indoor video surveillance. For wall/ceiling mounting, the operator can use Smartec STB-C01 and STB-02 optional brackets.

Each megapixel model in this series is bundled with VCA presence video analytics package, which can detect objects/people in the video surveillance area with a wide range of illumination and under various weather conditions. In addition, megapixel video camera can track moving objects (up to 100 simultaneously) and record changes in their moving direction, as well as to control manipulation over the camera lens. To reduce the number of false alarms, analytic functions can be applied to the certain areas in the frame, which can be chosen by the operator.

Optional VCA surveillance package provides advanced video analytics functions. With this package megapixel video camera can perform objects’ classification (size, movement speed), control their activity in the monitoring area and set "acceptible" moving directions. In addition, this video camera can calculate human traffic and the number of objects over time etc.

Viewing video and settings configuration can be carried out via network PC with standard web browser (for example, MS Internet Explorer). For centralized CCTV system with a large number of video cameras it is recommended to use NetStation software. This software can handle up to 32 IP-devices per server, and also provides video/audio recording, interactive eMap plans usage, archive search, etc. In addition, NEYRO Series megapixel video camera supports third-party software (for example, Mitsubishi NetHunter software with basic and advanced video analytics).

For external recording devices video camera is equipped with USB 2.0 interface and also has a microSD slot for memory cards. Megapixel video recording can be configured on the events, including an alarm signal or network disconnection. In addition, megapixel video camera is equipped with audio input/output and supports 2-way audio communication (microphone and speaker connection required). Built-in alarm input/output are used for connection of security sensors and executive devices, which can be configured through the web menu.
