02 february 2012 year
Digital video recorder STR-1695 with 16 video and audio channels has replenished the Smartec Delta series. It has one built-in SATA HDD and allows setting up 2 additional HDD to 18 Tb via eSATA and iSCSI. New DVR displays video with up to Full HD (1920×1080 pix.) resolution in single/multiscreen mode and records with Full D1 at 400 fps. STR-1695 supports remote PTZ-cameras control and motion detection, is equipped with 16/1 audio inputs/output and 16/4 alarm inputs/outputs. Management and configuration of DVR can be carried out remotely via RAS+ software.
Delta series DVRs STR-1695 are the most productive video recorders in their range. They record video and audio information from 16 analog cameras with up to Full D1 (720×576 pix.) resolution at 25 fps pro channel. H.264 compression provides bit rate reduction compared to MJPEG, ensures maximum recording time without compromising image quality and saves disc space of DVR.
STR-1695 records live video to built-in SATA. To increase archive capacity each DVR allows to install up to 2 additional HDDs, connect DAS-arrays via eSATA and operate SAN-storages using iSCSI interface. DVR can back up information using USB-port or DVD-RW. S.M.A.R.T. technology checks hard drive operation, warns the operator in case of HDD malfunction and helps to avoid losing valuable information.
16 channel DVR is equipped with three video outputs for main monitor connection: HDMI, VGA and BNC. Using HDMI and VGA interfaces, STR-1695 provides high-definition video transmission with Full HD (1920×1080 pix.) resolution, allowing the operator to view current/archive video in multiscreen mode (up to 16 screens). Secondary video output can be used for the monitor with VGA or BNC video inputs. In this case DVR can display multiscreen video with up to Full D1 (720×576 pix.). The operator can enable spot-output for monitor connection to view alarm video or display video from selected cameras.
By the RS-485/RS-232 interfaces, new DVR allows the operator to control PTZ-functions of the cameras that support different telemetry protocols. In addition, PTZ-cameras can be controlled via STR-1695 remotely using the system keyboard (for example, Smartec STT-2405U) or PC via RAS+ software. By the way, DVR can be connected to POS/ATM-terminals with the overlaying the text on data received from them.
Due to the free RAS+ software can be created geographically-distributed videosurveillance systems with comprehensive opportunities of DVR and other equipment configuration. This software allows remote viewing of current and archive video in a single or multiscreen mode displaying up to 64 channels simultaneously. For monitoring of current device location in videosurveillance system, STR-1695 support MapEditor Software Module for creating 3D multi-layer site maps and RAS Mobile application for giving access to DVR via mobile devices.
Timely detection of unauthorized activity and alarm situations in video-coverage sector is ensured by motion detector, and the operator can configure detector sensitivity (5 levels). To perform security functions, DVR is equipped with 16 alarm inputs for external alarm sensors and 4 outputs to control external executive devices. Having received an alarm signal, STR-1695 can activate audio signal, generate and sent the notification of file with alarm videofragments to the selected e-mails, display the alarm massage on the screen etc.
